Listing Updates for The Crown Tundra DLC
The Crown Tundra DLC releases tomorrow, Oct 22 2020. Sword and Shield orders are currently disabled till the 23rd or 24th 25th while we get ready, but we would like to share with you some of the listings that will be changing, and some upcoming listings as well.
Good Lord, All Legendaries Are Back
Looks like every Legendary is coming back when the Crown Tundra DLC releases on October 22, 2020. That’s a lot to add!
You can watch the official Pokemon announcement of the upcoming DLC here:
Gmail’s Problematic App – How To Reply To Emails
Recently, an increasing number of customers have been incorrectly replying to emails. After investigations, it would appear that the Gmail app on iOS and Android hasn’t been working well.
Specifically, replying using the Gmail app right now adds a ridiculous amount of extra spaces between each line of the original email. This poses a User Interface problem, because while replies should go above the original message, some might click into the extra space and create an in-line reply instead. The Gmail team has been made aware of this issue, one can follow along here.
Farewell, Pokezon
Pokezon is closing down. We have always considered them as our best competitor in the market, and will be sad to see them go.
When we formed our website in 2016, this was a solo endeavor. Looking through others in the market at the time, Pokezon was the only one that stood out. Most sellers are not actually tech savvy, they are script kiddies – evident from the platforms they sell on (random Facebook pages with Google Forms, or lazily slapped together *ugh* Shopify sites). Not Pokezon, which had a respectfully advanced and custom built website.
I, the original head of Rawkhet, have always joked with my team when discussing competitors that if/when Rawkhet does close down, I want to chat with Pokezon and tell them how awesome they are. I didn’t expect the converse to happen. They were truly one of the best, and a huge inspiration to Rawkhet. Wishing them a happy retirement, and greener pastures ahead.
Zarude Now Available!
The last Pokemon in the Isle of Armor DLC has been released!
You can now purchase the Rogue Monkey Pokemon, Zarude, on Rawkhet Pokemon.
Our Teambuilder has been updated to allow Custom Pokemon requests for Zarude.
New Listings and Updated Ditto
We’re adding 3 new listings for Pokemon Home!
The first is the Ditto Package for Home. Ditto are one of the most purchased Pokemon here, and this introduces a fast way to transfer them for customers who don’t need the items.
We’ve also added the Vivillon Package and Unown Package, for collectors to add to their Pokemon Home.
Our Ditto Packages have also been updated. We’re now including Pokerus with all the Ditto. Additionally, Full Ditto Packages in English will have their natures as their nickname for easy reference.
999:59 Playtime
On June 21, we hit 999:59 in playtime on our trading profiles (across all Switch consoles). It had been about 7 months (219 days) since Pokemon Sword and Shield was released, and 1,000 hours of trading is essentially 125 days of work (given a typical 8-hour work day).
Counting just trades done on Sword and Shield, this is pretty significant given this is done in conjunction with our full-time employment! Adding preparation time, it’s probably a lot more.
Shiny Zeraora Listings
Whoops! This is a pretty late post since we’ve been pretty sick (since June 28, good grief). Shiny Zeraora is now available, and was tradable since July 3.
The Teambuilder was updated to support Zeraora that can be Shiny, and bonus – it can be nicknamed (the normal one can’t, though). The Past-Gen Legendaries Package was also updated, and the Shiny selection will contain the Shiny Zeraora.
Today, we’ve finally got to updating the individual Zeraora listing to add a Shiny selection.
Isle of Armor: After Action Report
It’s been a week since the launch of Pokemon’s Isle of Armor DLC, and we wanted to talk a little about our experience, what we’ve learned and how we’ll improve further.
As expected, we had a major spike in orders that was 6x of normal load, 3x of the previous peak in March with Pokemon Home’s release, and 4x of the peak last November with Sword and Shield’s original release. Unlike the previous times, we had greatly optimized our strategy – through additional hands, automation, and algorithms – to be scalable. This held up, for the most part.
Isle of Armor: New and Revised Listings
We’re nearly at the end of Day 1 of our Isle of Armor coverage. What a day, we’ve essentially traded for 15+ consecutive hours with really little breaks.
Here are the updates to the website, with new listings and several changes to previous ones:
