No main game? Living Dex collections go directly into your Pokemon HOME account. With Nintendo Account delivery you don’t trade anything back or need to be online at the same time. You can add other listings to the same order, Custom Pokemon included, and they arrive in HOME with your collection. Then link HOME to Champions and pick your team from the box.

How a Pokemon reaches Champions
Three stops. The Teambuilder checks the first one for you.
Its origin game
A Pokemon can only move into HOME from the game it came from. The Teambuilder checks this when you build a set.
Pokemon HOME
Keep it in HOME, linked to the same Nintendo Account you use for Champions.
Champions
Only Pokemon on the Champions roster can visit from HOME. Moves that Champions doesn’t have will need retraining.
Pokemon recruited in Champions can’t go to HOME, and training done in Champions doesn’t carry back. Check the official Champions page and our Home Restrictions guide.

Yes, as long as the species is on the Champions roster and it reaches HOME from its origin game. The Teambuilder warns you about sets that can’t.
Not for Living Dexes, which go straight to HOME. Add other listings to that order, Custom Pokemon included, and they arrive in HOME too. Ordered on their own, Custom builds and single listings are collected in-game by trade, so you need the game for those.
Automated in-game orders are usually ready about a minute after payment. HOME deliveries and orders with extra notes are prepared by hand, usually within 24 hours.
Yes. A Custom team of six is $45 for one game.
