Introduction

Hello! Welcome to the Rawkhet Pokemon Trade Guide. If you’ve never traded with us before (that’s right, even if you have traded with others – and especially if you’ve never traded before), please take a moment to peruse this Trade Guide. We promise it’s faster than the safety video of an airliner, and will help us connect without a hitch.

Better Trades

Here are some important pointers that will help the trade be fast and smooth.

  1. DO NOT TRADE junk Pokemon that will trade evolve (e.g. Kadabra, Haunter, Machoke, Graveler, Boldore, Gurdurr, Phantump, Pumpkaboo). Doing so will greatly delay trades as we’ll have to wait for the evolution animation to complete.
  2. It’s cute, but try not to trade us a Pokemon of the same species as the one we’re trading you. For example, don’t trade us an Eevee if we’re also sending you an Eevee. It’s very confusing for us!
  3. Figure out which are the junk Pokemon you are trading me before we begin – sort your boxes if necessary. It’ll save us both time if you don’t have to look through your boxes for them mid-trade.
  4. Our Trainer Name is ALWAYS just “Rawkhet”.
  5. Upon purchase, you will immediately receive an email receipt, and trade details will be sent within 12-24 hours (or less). If you don’t receive these, send us a message via any of our channels. Remember to check your Spam!
  6. Communication is VITAL when setting up trades. You MUST be contactable so we can set up a trade. This means that the email you enter during Checkout must be valid and contactable. If you are unable to reliably message through email (e.g. no notifications, slow sending or receiving), please message us on a channel that you are comfortable with during collection.

During the Trade

With the exception of Pokemon Home, just send over junk Pokemon that you’ve caught for Pokemon that you’ve bought! Junk Pokemon are really just any Pokemon you don’t want.

For Sword & Shield

Trading in Pokemon Sword and Shield requires a Nintendo Account and active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Your Switch Friend Code and in-game Card Code are unnecessary.

  1. Open the Y-Comm by pressing the Y button.
  2. Press [+] to connect to the Internet. The top right should say “Internet“.
  3. Select Link Trade, then Set Link Code.
  4. Key in the Link Code you received from Rawkhet when it is time to collect, only when you are told to do so (it’s never 7691).
  5. Wait for the trade to be established. Stay in the overworld and do not open any menus.
  6. IMPORTANT: If we don’t connect within a minute, reply to let us know (no need to retry) so we can try another code!

Please ensure you have a stable Internet connection to trade. To check if you can trade online with Rawkhet (and others), do a Test Connection on your Switch (System Settings > Internet > Test Connection) and ensure that your NAT Type is A, B, or C (where A/B is ideal).

NAT Type D and F will NOT be able to connect with other players. Mobile Hotspots from your iOS or Android device, public WiFi, and work/enterprise WiFi are usually D. Use a different network or find troubleshooting steps over at Nintendo Support.

For Home

Transfer to Pokemon Home requires a Home Premium Subscription.

The only listings on Rawkhet Pokemon that are compatible with Pokemon Home are in the Pokemon Home Category, such as the Living Dex Collection and Legendaries Collection. Delivery from other listings such as ones from USUM or SWSH is NOT supported (explanation).

Unlike the other games, no actual trading is done. Upon providing the Moving Key, all Pokemon are moved into your Home account at once. No junk Pokemon is required.

  1. ONLY when prompted during collection:-
  2. Select Move in the main menu.
  3. Select Begin Move.
  4. Follow the steps until you see a Moving Key. Screenshot, take a photo, or copy the key and send it as fast as possible, we must enter it within 3 minutes.
